LANDSCAPES
Residential & Private
If you are considering enhancing your home environment, the process is as follows:
1. Initial meeting
Brett would meet with you onsite to discuss your requirements. This meeting assists us to capture your priorities, practicalities and aesthetic aspirations for your garden. It also improves efficiency therefore minimising costs for you.
2. Confirmation of scope of services
Following your initial meeting with Brett you will receive a quotation outlining the understanding of works and a fee indication.
Brett Garea Environments works with experienced designers and can offer superior garden design and build partnerships with a single point of contact, accountability, value, performance and guaranteed delivery.
A well-designed and constructed garden will after all enhance the environment, enrich your lifestyle and add value to your property. Our garden design and build services include:
-
Landscape Design
-
Landscape Construction
-
Construction Management
3. Detailed site investigation
Following acceptance of the fee indication a detailed site investigation will be carried out including site measure up, photo inventory and sourcing of any materials.
4. Concept and Rough Order Cost Estimates
Each component of the hard and soft landscaping is scheduled and a Rough Order Cost Estimate is prepared. The concept can be revised and/or staged in line with your feedback, priorities and available budget. Once you have approved the final concept plan we will confirm the construction sum.
5. Construction
Once you have approved the concept, construction sum and satisfied statutory requirements (if required) then Brett Garea Environments will start to bring the concept to life. The construction phase can be disruptive, testing and time-consuming, but we do our utmost to minimise the impact on you.
Where a landscape designer has been engaged they can remain your point of contact through this phase and assist with any queries or variations to the concept that may arise to ensure your satisfaction throughout the course of the project. Construction can involve any or all of the following:
6. Quality Control and Payment(s)
If engaged throughout the construction period either Brett Garea Environments, or the landscape designer, will meet with you to ensure you are satisfied with work completed. Payment for construction will be required following completion of the project (if the value is less than $10,000) or in stages if larger.
